Introduction
Imagemakers is expanding its digital innovation capabilities and embedding Artificial Intelligence into day-to-day business processes to improve productivity, consistency, and decision-making across the organisation. The AI Enablement & Automation Specialist plays a practical, hands-on role in identifying opportunities where AI can simplify, automate, or improve routine and repeatable processes across HR, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Support functions. This role focuses on understanding AI models, selecting the right tool for each use case, designing effective prompts and workflows, and supporting basic automation through scripting or API integrations. The role is suited to someone early in their AI career who is curious, analytical, and business-minded.
Key responsibilities
AI Enablement & Model Usage
- Understand the strengths and limitations of different AI models and tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, image and automation tools)
- Select the most appropriate model or tool for specific business use cases
- Apply NLP and AI prompting frameworks to design clear, reliable, and reusable prompts
- Test and refine prompts to improve accuracy, tone, consistency, and usability
Automation & Process Improvement
Identify opportunities within the business where AI can:
- Reduce manual effort
- Simplify routine tasks
- Improve turnaround times and consistency
Assist with the design of AI-enabled workflows, templates, and automation solutions
Support basic automation through:
- Python scripts
- API integrations
- No-code / low-code tools where applicable
Document workflows and ensure they are easy for teams to adopt
Quality, Governance & Risk Awareness
- Validate AI outputs and monitor for errors, hallucinations, bias, or inappropriate responses
- Apply basic data privacy, security, and ethical AI principles
- Maintain internal prompt libraries, templates, and usage guidelines
Collaboration & Enablement
- Work closely with internal teams to understand business needs and pain points
- Translate operational requirements into AI-assisted solutions
- Support internal training and enablement on effective AI usage
- Stay informed about emerging AI tools, features, and best practices
Minimum requirements
- 1–4 year's experience working with AI tools, automation, or digital workflows
- Strong familiarity with generative AI models and how they differ in capability and use
- Demonstrated experience with NLP and AI prompting frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic programming skills, preferably:
- Python, and/or
- API integrations
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Analytical mindset with a practical, problem-solving approach
- Ability to identify opportunities where AI can improve business processes
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Data / AI, Engineering, Linguistics, or a related field
- Experience supporting AI use cases in business environments (HR, Ops, Sales, Marketing, Admin, etc.)
- Exposure to workflow automation, systems integration, or digital process improvement
- Basic understanding of data governance, cybersecurity, and ethical AI principles
